The fully equipped all-electric kitchen features a glass top range, refrigerator/Freezer, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and all the dishes, utensils, and professional cookware most guests would ever need to make those wonderful meals away from home. Guests have full use of the PC in the cabin with full internet access. Guests may bring their laptops or tablets and use the cabins wireless modem to connect to the internet. Creature comforts include electric ceiling heat and window air-conditioners in each of the bedrooms and a window air-conditioner on the loft.
Outside the cabin are 2 decks attached to the cabin. The deck on the main level has a table and 6 chairs, which is great place for that morning coffee (which is provided) and the deck is great for watching the sunset over the lake. The lower deck has a swing and is a great place to spend a little alone time. Both Decks have views of Caney Creek. Another Deck beside the house and near the fire pit has the Charcoal BBQ grill on it and an 8’ picnic table. This too has a view of Caney Creek.
Just image waking to the sunrise out the Front door, Coffee and breakfast on the rear main deck, taking the boat to the ramp less than 1/8 mile away, skiing or fishing till lunch, having lunch at one of the 9 marinas, sitting in a cove to relax, pulling the boat out at the end of the day, grilling the days catch on the charcoal grill and relaxing by an evening fire. This can happen at Cabin on Cumberland.
The Cabin sits in a small neighborhood that is far enough away from town to let you totally relax, yet close enough that gas, groceries, and restaurants are easy to get to.

The Ramp and Parking
The public launch ramp known as Caney Creek Public ramp is right around the corner. With the water lower until 2014, people park along the shore as shown in the picture to the right. After 2014, parking will be just above the launch ramp itself to the right in the picture. This ramp is a very nice ribbed concrete ramp. Once on the water, the area directly across from the ramp always seems to have fisherman. I would assume this would mean it is a good fishing spot. By late morning and early afternoon, the skiers and tubers are seen all over this part of Caney Creek. Further upstream are some no wake zones where people sit and enjoy each other’s company.
